Our Purpose in the community 

 

The Alberta Association of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) is a non-profit professional organization that promotes communication and awareness in all matters relating to our profession.

Our website is here to provide easy access to straight forward information that helps people:

• Better understand the basics about prosthetics and orthotics. 

• Provide an insight into what to look for and what to expect.

• Be aware of the range of services our professionals offer.

Our professional members are practicing Prosthetists and Orthotists certified through the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO). 

Our role is to promote the professional services of our members within Alberta who provide orthotic and prosthetic treatments which enrich the lives of those we help.
